In addition to possessing the essential skills of how to manage employees through the policies and procedures at the College, effective supervisors need to have excellent interpersonal skills in order to succeed as a supervisor.   The Supervisor Excellence Certificate Program explores the skills supervisors need and combines this knowledge by understanding how to manage people using Bolman and Deal’s 4 Frames of Leadership (workshop and recorded session delivery methods only).  The College’s Leadership Development Program’s framework is designed around the 4 Frames of Leadership model, so getting exposed to this concept through the Supervisor Excellence Certificate program sets our supervisors up for a perfect transition into the Leadership Development Program. Certificate is awarded upon successful completion of all courses. The Supervisor Excellence Certificate Program is only open to supervisors of staff.  Non-supervisors are not permitted in this program.
